Community Guidelines for the National Association For Continence Message Board

Welcome to the National Association For Continence message board community. To ensure a constructive and respectful environment for all participants, we kindly ask you to review and adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Respectful Conduct. Treat fellow members with courtesy and refrain from engaging in behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, or offensive. Any form of discrimination, including racism, homophobia, sexism, or defamation, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the community.

2. Relevant Contributions. Prior to posting, we encourage you to explore existing discussions and utilize the search function to avoid duplicating topics. Please ensure that your posts contribute meaningfully to ongoing conversations and refrain from solely sharing links without context.

3. Advertising Policy. Our message board is intended for community discussion and is not a platform for advertising commercial products or services. Any unauthorized promotion will result in removal from the community. Limited exceptions may apply, with moderator approval. Please email memberservices@nafc.org for all inquiries.

4. Thread Etiquette. When creating a new thread, please use clear and concise titles that accurately represent the topic of discussion. Avoid ambiguous titles and ensure that time-sensitive threads are appropriately labeled. Additionally, refrain from using derogatory language in thread titles.

5. Content Standards. We maintain a standard of quality for posted content. Avoid posting excessive amounts of copied text and ensure that all content shared is relevant and respectful. Threads or posts lacking meaningful substance may be subject to removal.

6. Personal Disputes. Refrain from initiating call-out threads or engaging in personal disputes on the message board. Such behavior detracts from the community's positive atmosphere and will be addressed by moderators.

7. Trolling and Hostility. Any attempts to disrupt the community through trolling, hostile behavior, or linking to hostile websites will result in immediate removal. We encourage constructive debate but expect all interactions to remain civil and respectful.

8. Graphic Content. To maintain a safe and inclusive environment, explicit or graphic content, including gore, shock imagery, indecent photos or pornography, is strictly prohibited.

9. Reporting Misconduct. If you encounter posts that violate community guidelines, please utilize the reporting feature to notify moderators. We rely on the assistance of our members to uphold community standards and ensure a positive experience for all.

10. Account Policy. Members are permitted to have only one active account unless otherwise authorized by moderators. Account sharing is prohibited, and any attempts to circumvent this policy may result in disciplinary action.

11. Legal and Privacy. Respect intellectual property rights, privacy, and legal regulations. Any instances of libel, defamation, or threats will be promptly addressed, and appropriate action will be taken in compliance with legal requirements.

12. Miscellaneous. Please refrain from altering usernames, misgendering individuals, or disclosing personal information without consent. Private conversations should remain confidential, and abusive behavior via private messaging will not be tolerated.

15. Cookie and Copyright Policies. Refer to our designated pages for information on cookie usage and copyright policies. By participating in our community, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these policies.
